(8) Next, when the spiritual sacrifice, the bloodless worship, has been completed,27 over that sacrifice of propitiation we beseech God28 for the public peace of the Churches, for the good estate of the world, for the Emperors,29 for the armed forces and our allies,30 for those in sickness, for the distressed: for all, in a word, who need help, we all pray and offer this sacrifice.
